About This Candle

For a long time I've wanted to create a candle specifically for this quote, which I absolutely love, believe and cite often. Wikipedia defines bliss as "a state of profound spiritual satisfaction, happiness or joy." For me, bliss is not something I can manufacture, force, or am in control of. Bliss is a sensation deep within that I experience when I am aligned with the Holy. Bliss is God's finger beckoning, "This way, this way..."

 

As a living human being with human foibles, a human brain and human relationships, it's impossible to live in a state of bliss 24/7. I don't advocate even trying, as it's a surefire setup for disappointment and possibly berating yourself for not being spiritual / perfect / whatever enough. What I do advocate, and what this candle is truly for, is to let yourself follow the whispers of your heart -- that which brings you profound spiritual satisfaction, happiness or joy -- and for the willingness to continuing to venture wherever that may lead you. —Carla Blazek, creator, zena moon
