About These Candles Every so often we wind up with a candle that doesn't meet my standards. Sometimes it's because we've dropped it (that would be me), or left it in the cooling process too long and it cracked, or there's a surface scratch, or it's gotten dinged in the photography process (that would be my brother), or it's simply outlived its shelf life. Whatever the cause, something has affected the cosmetic appearance of the candle but not necessarily its performance. One of my employees calls them orphan candles -- they may be a little (sometimes a lot) bruised, but they need a home like any other candle! Just like the loveable but imperfect toys on the Island of Misfit Toys in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. :)
People who attend my Open Studio Parties have benefited from purchasing these deeply-discounted candles for years, and I've decided to now make them available to everyone online. These candles are available on highly limited, first-come first-serve basis.
