One lesson I continue to learn is that racing around serves no one—not my family, not my work, not the world, not my Self. The more I attempt to accomplish, the less I actually give, and the less I experience and savor. And, because one of my core beliefs is that quality is more important than quantity, slowing down is an exercise I try to practice daily. Life is short enough. Why race through it?
